Hurrah!
A and I have book our summer holiday. We are going to walk along Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend in the North East to Bowness-on-Solway outside Carlisle. We're actually going to add a bit on, so that the day before, we walk from Whitley Bay or Tynemouth to Wallsend, so we will have walked our own little "Coast to Coast" route.
Guess we'd better start upping our walking rate over the next few weekends...
The ramblings of a textile junkie living in the Cheshire Plain, hanging in there and wondering what it's all about. Frequently out of step with the rest of the world (or so it seems) I just muddle through as best I can...

My wife and I walked part of Hadrians wall a fair few years ago, camping along the way. Fantastic. You'll really enjoy it, beautiful views and extra special for you as you're doing coast-to-coast.
