That's extreme 'avoid marking' tactics!!! ;)
I hope he's the groundsman or a cleaner and not a teacher, or you wonder what he's teaching the students.
As far as I could gather, he was a Learning Mentor, which means he'd be supporting pupils who were finding some aspects of schoool challenging.
